A Era dos Algoritmos de Inteligência Artificial no Controle Gerencial

Abstract

A Inteligência Artificial (IA) tem afetado a maneira como vivemos, nos comunicamos, trabalhamos, e nos divertimos. Esta tecnologia tem nos proporcionado maior conveniência e eficiência em nossas tarefas cotidianas (Kolbjørnsrud, Amico & Thomas, 2016; Schildt, 2016). Assistentes virtuais como Siri, Alexa e Google Assistant estão sempre prontos para responder nossas perguntas, agendar compromissos, fornecer informações em tempo real e até mesmo controlar dispositivos inteligentes em nossas casas. Plataformas de streaming como Netflix e Spotify utilizam algoritmos de IA para personalizar recomendações de filmes, séries, músicas e podcasts, com base em nossos interesses e preferências individuais. Jogos eletrônicos estão se tornando mais imersivos e realistas, com personagens controlados pela IA e experiências de jogo adaptativas. Além disso, a IA tem sido utilizada na área de saúde, para auxiliar no diagnóstico de doenças; e por instituições financeiras para detectar atividades suspeitas e identificar possíveis fraudes. Essa inteligência tem ainda impulsionado o desenvolvimento de cidades inteligentes, melhorando a gestão de recursos, transporte público e segurança.
